I just heard that the body that was found is the missing teacher. Very sad news. Her husband has also been arrested and charged with her murder.
What a waste of life. So sad this story is.

I hope that it wasn't him, but when he said take my cars, take everything I thought something might be up. But I didn't want to be a dick and say something. I am sure they checked his cell phone records, hers and other things. They wouldn't arrest him if they didn't have cause. Now we have to wait and see what happens. This all sucks ass. Another life wasted over nothing.

I thought the same exact thing when the story broke in the paper yesterday. That specific quote just seemed strange to me, everyone else I talked to about it felt the same way....apparently he had determined that she had been kidnapped and was being held for ransom before the police came to this conclusion or made a statement about it publicly? Seemed like it was being proposed as more of an ideal scenario by this guy instead of a possibility.
What an absolute tragedy, I think what frightens me the most is not only that this guy killed his wife but was callous and fucked up enough to go look her parents in the eye and claim he was worried about her. Don't understand it....
Nothing but bad news lately. Did anybody hear about that kid from Wantagh who got murdered up in Albany? I didn't know him, but he went to the same high school as me and got shot a few houses down from where I used to live up there. That's another horribly tragic story....maybe I'm just bad luck, I was on 135 around the time this must have happened too.
BTW North Hills is pretty far from Plainview, definitely more than 2 miles. It's not all that far from the Queens border. How no one saw this guy dumping a body on the service road during morning rush hour is amazing. That road is always packed.
