    Yaphank Garage

So I finally got to stop out there after seeing pictures of it a while back from Doc... I was just planning to take some exterior shots but there ended up being a SCPD cop from HQ there and he kindly let me in. We got to talking and the garage is owned by SCPD, it is part of the Police Museum. Marty Himes is the caretaker of the vehicles and i will definitely be making a trip real soon to his place in Bay Shore.

I also found out that the Tow Truck sitting outside was one of the first originally leased by a local garage (I think the one I was in) so it has significance to the PD Museum and they will be doing a restoration on it, not pristine, but to make it look like a working truck from the time period...

After I do my research I think we're going to have to feature not only this garage but the SCPD Museum and also Marty Himes Museum on the main page... I rendered out a few jpg's quick, enjoy....

If I can get permission and get that police car out I have 2 possible models in mind to do some vintage pinup shots with and I think Doc may be joining with another model...
