It's a bit confusing there. The road should be closed for construction, but it's open in most places, but difficult to drive down. Maybe they leave parts of it open because it's the only way residents can get in and out? And why are they just spreading dirt over the pavement? Why not just pave over the exisiting asphalt? Oh well, at least it's getting done. I've been working in the area for over 2 years now, and it's been pretty bad for at least that long.
I gotta say, they did a great job with Long Island Ave. Smooth..................
