Are they EVER gonna pave Long Island Ave? Every time I drive down there my teeth knock together. THey keep saying, they (Crookhaven) are gonna fix it. But When??

I haven't gone down there in a while and now I'm kind of glad, lol...
L.I. AVE STARTS IN BABYLON TOWNSHIP, I ASSUME YOU'RE REFERRING TO A SECTION MUCH FURTHER EAST?
THE ROUTE 110 AND OLD COUNTRY ROAD INTERSECTION AREA HAS BEEN PATCHED AND REPATCHED FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS ONLY BECAUSE THEY ARE SUPPOSEDLY GOING TO DO A MAJOR UPDATING WITH THE N.S.P. THE PROJECT WAS SUPPOSED TOBE DONE 2 YEARS AGO AND WASN'T BUT IS STILL UNDER CONSIDERATION.
ADD TO THAT ANOTHER 2 MORE YEARS OF ABUSE AND MORE PATCHES AND YOU HAVE POT HOLE FIXES RUNNING FOR HUNDREDS OF FEET! IT SUCKS.

LI Ave from Waverly Ave to Route 110. It sucks. I think it helped me pass a kidney stone once... ;D

I have yet to see a soul from the highway dept. on LI Ave. And it just keeps getting worse.

The LIE isnt so great itself lately but it looks like theyre going to start fixing it. The seams are just breaking apart but you can see now some cut outs around the bad spots so work is in progress, wonder how long itll take.
They've ripped up a lot of roads this year, wonder where all the money came from... :![]()
They have been repaving the LIE in western Suffolk for the last two months.....
