Well everyone has heard that the Chandler Estate is haunted. I have never checked this place out and was thinking about doing it soon! But anyways, I wanted to hear anyones experiences if they have been here. Also, does anyone know if the place is fully torn down, or there is still a part of it up?

Fred had a post about metal detecting at the estate (on the other station),theres just a field in the woods were it used to be. Some where on the north shore in Ridge or Mount Sinai or something...
Ok...well I looked at Google maps, and the mansion was still there...but I looked at live maps, and it is not. It was an abandoned waterfront resort that was later converted to apartments. Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller stayed here in the 1950s. It was supposedly haunted, and also supposedly people were chased out of there from cults. It was located in Mt. Sinai. Its actually on the "other" website.

There is an old cemetery down the block from there that is dated back to the 1700's.

Yes, its empty, but I guess still haunted I'd take it. Also, on the way up the road to what was the Chandler estate is also an old church that has stones dating back to the 1700's. I'm going tomorrow to check it out anyway.
