    Plastic Factory in Garden City?

    Hey all!

I work in Garden City and the building I work in was originally some sort of factory that made stuff out of plastic, unfortunately that's all I could get from word of mouth. I know when the building was purchased (about 6 or 7 years ago maybe) it was a storage facility. The whole upper level is new, however the storage facility remains and is still in use. Above our parking garage you can see into a few large holes through the roof into what was the original factory. Right next to our building there used to be train tracks and some parts of the tracks are still visible. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of this "factory" that was once here, I can't seem to find any info on it. There also seems to be some paranormal activity that goes on here after hours and on the weekends like mysterious banging sounds, footsteps, lights going on and off...creepy stuff

    any input would be awesome!

Any photos or a better location? There are tons of abandoned and torn up RR spurs on LI and in GC you had both the LIRR and CRRLI running through.

It's located on Endo blvd (or Lifetime Brands Blvd), which is right off of Stewart Ave, last building on the right before you hit Nassau Community parking lot. Not sure where this would be located on a map since I'm sure it wasn't called Endo then...

Your building is in the old Mitchel Field Air Force Base, without knowing the building I'd assume it was part of the complex. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitchel_Air_Force_Base

There is indeed part of the Central Rail Road running by there, the tracks are what the Ringling Brothers uses to get to the Coliseum and they park the train back there.
