HERE'S THE 1700-1800'S HOUSE I'M WORKING AT. THE SMALLER LEFT SIDE IS THE 1700'S PART. BEHIND THE BUSH IS A DOOR WITH A STAIRWAY INSIDE THAT TAKES YOU UPSTAIRS. THE KITCHEN IS A BRICK FLOOR AND HAS AMAZING VIEWS OF THE SMALL BUT NICELY THOUGHT OUT YARD LANDSCAPING. THE CEILING THROUGHOUT THE 1ST FLOOR HAS AMAZING ROUGH SAWED BEAMS. THE 1820 PART IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE (THE PART WE ARE WORKING IN). IT HAS A STAIRWAY AS WELL JUST INSIDE THE DOOR, BASICALLY ON THE THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WALL IN THE OLDER PART. THE STAIRWAYS MEET AT THE TOP AND THERE'S A DOOR SEPARATING THE TWO SECTIONS. ANOTHER STAIRWAY BEHIND A DOOR TAKES YOU TO A FINISHED 3RD FLOOR ATTIC. THIS PLACE COULD ALMOST BE USED AS A BED & BREAKFAST. IT HAS ANOTHER ADDITION TO THE REAR OF THE NEWER SECTION WHICH IS BASICALLY ANOTHER HUGE KITCHEN, PANTRY, LAUNDRY ROOM AND BATHROOM.
I REALLY LIKE THIS PLACE AND WHERE IT'S SITUATED....VERY PLEASING TO THE EYES. IT'S ALSO ON THE SOUTHOLD TOWN HISTORIC REGISTER AS A LANDMARK. I BELIEVE IT WAS THE ORIGINAL REEVE FARM HOMESTEAD AND IT'S ON REEVE AVE.
AND THIS IS THE GARAGE/BARN. PREVIOUS OWNERS STORED A CAR AND A SAILBOAT INSIDE ALONG WITH A HUGE SCRAP LUMBER PILE, A WORKSHOP AND A 2ND FLOOR WITH LOTS OF STORAGE SPACE....
LOOKS TO BE A POTTERS SHED THERE TOO (I HAVEN'T PEEKED IN THERE YET).
