    Fay Avenue Hospital, Patchogue???

While reading about the Helen Tiernan murder in 1930's Brookhaven one of the articles mentions he brother being taken to Fay Avenue Hospital in Patchogue for treatment. Does anyone know where Fay Avenue was? I cannot seem to find anything at all about a Fay Avenue or Fay Avenue Hospital anywhere.

Was researching this murder case to see whatever happened to Jimmy Tiernan or Helen Tiernan. Fay Avenue is probably a typo - Bay Avenue was the site of a hospital.

Mother did it. The funeral service was held at the Ruland Funeral chapel on North Ocean Avenue, with the Rev. Carl G. Gernannet, pastor of Emanuel Lutheran Church officiating. The only mourner was her grandfather, George Smith, from New York City. She was interred at Lakeview cemetery, Patchogue. The employees of the nearby Patchogue-Plymouth Lace Mill purchased her gravestone.
"Well being as there's no other place around the place, I reckon this must be the place, I reckon."
