Experiences at Mary's Grave... The frightening, the strange and the mundane.

Everyone and their mother has been to one of the many Mary's Graves across this wonderful island of ours. Though most of the time the only reason something happens or is perceived to happen is because they participants have already psyched themselves out before arriving at the location. What I would like to know is, have any of you ever had anything happen at all? Doesn't have to be "Mary" related but it wouldn't hurt (haha). I'll go first.

Chandler Estate: A winter or two before the tragic fire that destroyed the house I went up to the Chandler Estate with a group of friends for an impromptu investigation. We arrived at the church around 9:30 on a Friday night. The sky was clear and the ground was covered in snow and ice. We slowly made our way across the parking lot to the dirt road that lead to the houses. We had to move slowly and with carefully measured steps as the ice was incredibly slippery. This is an important because as we slowly made our way through the woods, step by step, foot by foot, each movement cracking ice and crunching the snow. Moving quietly would be near impossible. It finally happened, one of the members of our group slipped and took a nasty fall. As we helped her up I looked down the road towards the church and saw someone walking towards us. I saw them clear as day, it was a man. He was walking towards us a lot faster (a normal stride) than we had felt comfortable moving at. I expected to hear some sound when he moved, some reaction from the snow or ice but there was none. I called this to the attention of my companions and they quickly suggested we leave and leave immediately. With that they went barreling through the brush and into a cul-de-sac. I never did find out who it was. Could it have been someone living at the Pine Lodge? Sure, it could have been but I doubted it then and I doubt it now. Could it have been someone else just looking to go to the Chandler Estate? Of course, it wouldn't be the first time we ran into people. Usually though they were loud groups of teenagers trying to scare each other and get drunk.

I have a few more that I will post a little later. I look forward to your responses.
