Hello... i'm wondering if any of you remember The Dollhouse strip club that was off of Sunrise Highway... I remember when it closed and it was boarded up for awhile... wonder if anyone has any pics from it...
I know it's a real out there thing to think about, but it just popped into my mind after browsing through alot of posts on this forum and I was thinking hard about old stuff I remember seeing that's no longer around on the island... I got alot of share and contribute as well...
southside of sunrise where main Street Stereo is now. I just asked my husband who grew up in the area. I myself have never heard of this place. When did it close down?
I remember the name and seeing it once or twice back in the 80's. Went to alot of titty bars, just not the dollhouse!

Ahhhhhhhh I remember it well. I got in there when I was 16. Never proofed. Hahaha. The place was really a dump inside and the beers were expensive and warm but damn if we didnt have a blast there. Lubs, it was not near Main Street Stereo, it was further west. I think the spot is now paved due to the Sunrise Hwy expansion. The Dollhouse........ Ah Memories....... LOL

Yeah it was north of sunrise on the service road... I remember it being a creepy looking building with red shingles... got demolished around 94'-95'...

It was a red building that I think was on the corner of Johnson and sunrise...
Definitely south of Sunrise... right now, the service road runs right next to where it was. I believe it was slightly west of Oakdale-Bohemia Rd. It was definitely red, and sat at about a 45 degree angle to the highway. There's nothing standing where it used to be but grass and the woodline. I was 18 and got to go inside to repair the dryer.
YEP. Oakdale Bohemia Rd sounds about right. It was on the south side of sunrise hwy.
