I'll take my 86 Jeep CJ7. Never been stuck and I can squeeze that little mule in anywhere.......

I have been leaning towards the Jeep. I want to take it upstate and go find some old logging trails and even do some Metal Detecting.

What are Jeeps going for today?

I hate to say it, but the other day I was reading the TOP 10 worst cars made. Names like Fiat, Suzuki, Kia, Dodge, Chrysler and JEEP were on that list.

I miss my little Jeep... Having a CJ or a Wrangler just isn't practical for me these days. I had MT 31x13.50's on my last one, didn't even have to air down on the beach, it just floated on top of the sand (and everything else for that matter, it was a handful on icy roads...)

I have MT 33's on mine and although they are great in the dirt and snow they really suck on ice. Wheel is all over the place. And I agree Doc, all those other cars suck but you just cant kill a jeep. (By the way, it is technically not a car, it is an "open utility vehicle")

The old jeeps before Chrysler took them over were better. The new ones suck. I had a 2000 and had nothing but problems. I dumped it at 50,000 and 4 years old. I put over 10000 into it in that time. New shocks, front end, steering stabilizer bar, whole new rear axle, radiator and so on. The next thing that was going to go was the transfer case. I dumped it. I also had tons of problems with the engine fouling plugs all the time. I would never buy another one, ever. I barely went off road in it, and when I did it was just some dirt roads down in jersey, no crawling, no mudding. I had the Sport with the inline 6. I had a bad experience, there are people out there that never had a problem with their jeep. My wife had a 2004 grand cherokee laredo and that sucked too.

Not the best Daily driver (No power steering, no power brakes and low gearing) but for a 38 year old vehicle she's strong and reliable!
