    Neat site;

    As you can see, born and raised in Bay Shore. Remember a lot in over 40 years. From the carnival at the Farmers Market, to the open South Shore Mall, and a lot more.

    Great site..

    Welcome.... My family owned a lot of land in Bay Shore 40 or so years ago. There's a bunch of houses on 5th ave built by my grandfather's family. My cousin still owns a house there that he runs his car business out of.

    Not that I'm aware of, he used to have a shop between 111 and Commack rd (the other commack rd, lol) on the Sunrise service Rd.

    There's one house in particular that brings back memories of my grandfather and his brothers (of course my aunt was never there) taking care of my very elderly great grandmother... It's not a sight a child should have seen, but times were different then, lol...

    Thank you. I am having a blast remembering the fun stuff of years ago. And also learning about the island as well.
