    Seaside Spectacular Collector's Car Show

    Date: Saturday, October 2, 2010
    Time: 12:00pm - 4:00pm
    Location: Town Park Point Lookout

    The fifth annual Seaside Spectacular Collectors' Car Show will steer into Town Park Point Lookout on Saturday, October 2 with check-in starting at 10 a.m. and the show beginning at noon. Car collectors may pre-register by Friday, September 24 with a $10 entry fee per car. OPEN TO DISPLAY CARS 1985 AND OLDER. Day-of-show registration is limited to availability. Peer choice awards presented at 3 p.m. No spectator fee and free parking. Exotic and classic car displays. Live bands, snacks and beverages available for purchase.

    What's a "display car?" Is that like a trailer queen or do they expect actual drivers to show up??? My Chevelle is a good 20 footer, she looks good from afar!

    Heck, i remember when cars had to be 1965 or earlier. But i guess that was 20+ years ago.

    25 years is when a vehicle officially hits being a classic, although there are certain vehicles regardless of year which are permitted because of the rarity...

    One more year and my Jeep is a classic! Woot! Cant wait. Cheaper insurance & safety only inspection!

    After 25 years its a safety only inspection. Thats what I really am looking forward to. $15 instead of $35 and no emissions test. (not that I have had a real inspection in years)
