    Smithtown Heritage Country Fair

I don't know if I'll be able to make it, but thought I'd let everyone know. The owner of Katie's Bar told me about it today.

Walk over to Smithtown's historical district for hay rides, kids games, crafts, antique cars, cooking, live music, pony rides, a blood drive and more sponsored by the Historical Society. There will be a re-enactment of Charles Lindbergh's flight over Smithtown, Native American crafts, old-time baseball, Civil War soldiers, games, cooking, traditional dancing and a plant sale. Admission for adults is $5, children $3.

    When: Sunday, Sept. 19 10 a.m - 5 p.m.
    Where: 211 Middle Country Rd.
    Contact: (631) 265-6768

Im gonna try and get over there for a bit. Ive seen the old time baseball and must admit I really enjoy the "antique" version of the game.

Hmmmm.... Sands Point or Smithtown... I have less of a chance running into people I don't wanna see in Sands Point, the joys of growing up in Smithtown and I know there are still a few "townies" (those who never left) still there, lol...
