Hey everyone. Just thought I'd introduce myself. Found this site looking for info about Knollwood/muttontown preserve. I frequent that area a lot and love Long Island history and exploring. Hmmm, well I am excited to learn more! That's all I could think of now but I'm sure you will learn more.

Welcome... I love Knollwood... There was a guy who did a lecture at Bethpage library about a year ago, he had some amazing pictures of the house before it was torn down...

There are books? Oh sweet. I must look for them. Maybe one of you many know, but awhile back during my research of the preserve, I found a story on how a tour guide found human remains somewhere in the preserve (I'm remembering they were found 2001 2002 but I could be totallly wrong about the dates). That's all I really remember about it and I can't find it anymore. It's like it was my imagination or something....
