    Too bad they didn't house Sherman there, lol... I'm sure there's plenty more out there in the woods in the mid Atlantic and south that just hasn't been found yet...

    Hey! I take offense to that. Sherman is one of the top favorite US military commanders of all time. He was also the first modern general ... and he made the South howl

    Hahahaha.... We can agree to disagree on General Sherman, and since this post isn't about his war crimes I'll digress... BTW, I have a statue of General Robert E Lee proudly displayed in my living room...

    Sherman acted as a General should. He didnt play games, it was war.

    Right on, as Sherman himself said - war is hell. He did what needed to be done to bring the South to their knees. I suggest we try his tactics in today's conflicts instead of pussyfooting around playing games.
