Looks like an evel downdraft. They are usually the start of a twister. My wife said it was wild here in Holtsville, she even mentioned hearing of a tornado and high wind warning. It looks like you were at ground zero. Wild!

As i said in chatbox, some verizon maint guys said a small twister passed about 1/3 of a mile south of my house. I believe it too, since the severe wind lasted only 20-30 seconds and did alot of damage. At albie schmitt's house in jamesport it split a tree in half.

LOTS OF BIG PUDDLES THIS MORNING ON MY WALK. I SHOULD HAVE WORN BOOTS!
HOWEVER, MY PUDDLE JUMPING PUPPER WAS HAVING A BLAST!........
AND A CLEAR WATER RINSE FOR GOOD MEASURE BEFORE HEADING HOME LOL!.....
