From what I heard it was a bar during prohibition with a candy store as a front. "Charlie" was the proprietor who commited suicide when the feds came knocking. Supossedly the current owner has seen "Charlie" in the basement a few time. I've never been there and who knows how "true" what I've heard is.
katie's is that on main st in smith town going toweard that sizzler? i would go there for our holiday get together as long as the place is not loud with a live band

I haven't been there in a long time... I know a few people who work there, you'd think I'd get there more.... Would love to hear the stories...
