    Re: holiday traditions

Invite everyone over, my sister refuses to show because our whole family is horrible, my grandmother stands over the leftovers like a little child because she wants to take some home (she lives in the same house as me and thinks I'm too stupid to realize she wants to take them to her friend who none of us can stand) everyone leaves and I swear I'm not going to host another holiday.... Oh yea and when I tell my sister she should grow up, she deletes and blocks me from Myspace and Facebook and refuses to speak to me for almost 2 years now and tells common friends that I'm a loser....

Forget about shopping, all the morons are on the road or at the stores 15 hours before they open so they might save 99 cents on a thousand dollar TV that they could have bought in July for half the price....

BTW... It's Yule, NOT Christmas!!! It's a Pagan holiday, the Birth of the SUN god, NOT the Birth of the Son OF god.... There are 12 days, hence the song, is x-mas 12 days long??? Yule Log??? Who cares, this stupid country has turned it into a big commercial anyway.... It's 1 miserable day that now starts the day after Halloween!!!!

Oh yea, Jesus was born in July!

    B U N N Y the holidays!!!!

    Merry Christmas!!!

    ;D

Well, Im gonna try and start one this year. I wanna make a bunch of natural Christmas wreathes. Soup to nuts, the whole thing. Gonna get out soon to start collecting materials. The whole "plastic" Christmas thing doesnt appeal to me. Im hoping to find some Christmas spirit in making my wreathes...

    Re: holiday traditions

Thanksgiving is always a tradition at my moms. No one makes Thanskgiving like her.
i make an apple pie every year. we eat, we reminise and then we relax and fall asleep from the triptophane LOL. Christmas eve is also always at my moms. It's an open door for people to drop by say hello and get a bite to eat. Now that i have my own house, we exchange gifts with my mom on christmas eve instead of christmas day. My husband does his usual 7-11 run about 1 am christmas eve to buy me candy and lotto tickets for my stocking. (i figured that out after 2 years that he was going there because all men shop last minute and that's the only place you can get candy and lottos late at night)
