Cantine mill Saugerties NY

I was able to get some pictures of the Catine Mill in saugerties on South Partition Street behind Krause's Candy(41 South Partition Street great candy shop) The mill was built in 1888 by Martin Cantine, it closed in 1975 and burned down in 1978. Here are the pics of the ruins. Had to talk my way in because they were doing so repair work to what is left of the place.

at the top of the water fall running the whole length if you notice there's a pipe that is there.

Way ahead of you buddy. I'm up there alot(ask rob lol) and i will be stopping by there alot when im up there to see what they are doing.

Rob it is very interesting. I learned yesterday that there is another old paper mill on the other side of the creek there. I know wheere the main building is for the other mill is. I also heard that there are some ruins from the other mill a swell. So i will be lurking around up there next time to find the ruins an snap some pics of the other mill building thats still standing.

UPDATE

I am upstate right now and found a comp to use. They are fixing some of this place up. The brick wall in i think pic 17 was been knocked down. I am going there sometime this week to get pics of what they have done. Doc i did manage to get you a brick from this place.
