Route 135 in Seaford was closed today because Jennifer Anniston was filming a movie on it. Traffic on Sunrise Highway and 135 was ridiculous....crowds of people showed up and watched from the overpass on 27....crowds of police officers parked their cars on 135 and watched the action up close.
It took me 45 minutes to get from Hempstead Turnpike in Plainedge to Merrick Road in Massapequa...

I believe that NYC does allows most filming only on Sunday mornings to avoid this problem. The town must have permitted it because of the permit fees and business it generated for a day, not caring at all about anyone affected by the traffic. Screw actors and actresses who couldn't care less about working people, let them build a set in Hollywood somewhere, and let us proceed with our lives unaffected! How much business was affected by people being late, or not getting somewhere at all?? >:
Its not the actress fault. Shes just a well paid employee, she goes where shes told. Blame the Producers, Director, Screen Writer, etc. They call the shots!
