    Smithtown Cemetery

This cemetery is walking distance, I knew it has some really old tombstones, so I decided to walk over there today, I haven't been able to shoot in almost 2 weeks since my car died. The place turned out to be amazing. Its beautiful, set into hills, flowers, monuments, statues and tombstones dating as early as the 1700s. I spent a few hours shooting and didn't even cover it all. I had no idea something this great was so close to home all these years and I never found it. Lots of these stones are from some really important families in this area, the Blydenburghs, and Smiths.
