    Re: BBQ thread

We were going to use them for our bathroom, but my wife didn't like the price. The bad thing is that she still hates the bathroom and wants it done. How did it come out? Were they good? Let me know. I might have to call them back to get mine done. Thanks Lubby.

If you want it done right and the way you want it you have to do it yourself.... I still have non grounded outlets and an old fashioned heat register in there... For the amount of rewiring and replumbing needed it would have been a fortune... Plus I know it's done right... Taking me forever though, lol...

If I did my own bathroom it would probably come out like shit. Half way through I would give up and convert my deck box into a latrine. I would rather pay someone to do it so I don't have to crap into a deckbox.

alure is excellent. it is one stop shopping. you pick everything for your bathroom at the showroom. it is a little pricy but in the end it was worth it. the bathroom was done right. my old bathroom had tiles stuck on ply wood, no mud floor and the tub was never set right because the floor ws uneven. Alure did rigt by us. I highly recommend them. they are very professional and are upfront about everything they do.

I need other work done while the bathroom is gutted that wouldn't be part of a bathroom remodel... So while the walls and floor is gone I'm rewiring other rooms, repiping the heat that's running through there and replacing the radiator that's in the bathroom along with setting up to replace the last 2 bedrooms I need to convert from radiators to baseboard.... Plus I'm putting in a closet, attic access, running new cable lines.... It's one job that has spiraled into a whole bunch of them... The way my Split is, I have full access to the one attic and access from the basement to the upper attic.... Once I have the sheetrock up i'm calling in someone to finish the rest...

We've been gutting this house 1 room at a time for the last 6 1/2 years... There's no insulation in the outside walls and still lots of 2 prong outlets... So opening up one room leads to a lot of work....
