    Old Burying Ground-Southold

    Old Burying Ground (1640) Rev. John Youngs, leader of first Puritan settlement along with many settlers are buried here. The oldest stone is dated 1717.

    Cool Headstones! I like that slate flying skull. Its in great shape considering it is 259 years old!

    I noticed the stones like you explained to me last time we went out. I knew youd like that one........theres lots of them in this cemetery.
