We made up a rumor back in the early 90's about Jake Brown Road and it actually made it into weird NJ. Not exactly the same thing, but damn close. We used to tell people that Jake Brown murdered his family and we would take them to the clearing at the end of the road and scare the shit out of people. Now people talk about how spooky it is there, blah blah blah. The houses there are old military houses and people make it out to be more than it is. I am not saying that we are totally responsible, but we scared a shit pile of people back there, also on Runyon Road. That has the kill yourself bridge. We used to tell people that there were crazy people back there, rabid dogs that would chase you down. Total nonsense but it made it's way to the internet. Funny stuff. I will see if I can find some links.

Yea, I guess it wouldn't be THAT hard. When I was 15 or so my friend and I told another friend that there was a village of Vietcong living in the small woods across the street from my house. He seriously believed it, I shit you not.

I can remember one time going up to Mary's Grave in Head of the Harbor. I was with my girlfriend (wife) and a friend of mine. We passed the house and went to turn around at the beach (corner) passed the water shed. When what should appear infront of my eyes but a douchebag teenager jumping out from behind the shed. Needless to say I stopped the care and got out.

At 6'7" and 300+ guess who was the one getting scared.
