The East Middle Island Schoolhouse 1831
This old school house stood on Yaphank road and was in use until the new school was built further south on the same road in 1928 at a cost of $19,000. It was moved a short distance to the west and now sits in the Bartlett Pond parkgrounds.
The Middle Island School 1928
The "New" School opened in 1928 and served the Middle Island School District. It continues to be used today as the administrative offices of the Longwood School district.
